Blizzard has reportedly confirmed that it's working on an as yet officially unannounced game.

This new title is apparently not World of Warcraft, Diablo III, StarCraft II or the developer's unnamed MMO.


"This brand-new game is not a World of Warcraft expansion, and it is not related to the Next-Gen MMO, reads a Blizzard quote on DIII.

According to the Blizzard rep, the World of Warcraft engine is currently being used to test the new project, although staff are due to be hired to develop an engine from scratch for the game.

We've contacted Blizzard for comment.
