MSN for DS

This is a trick that I learned.

The only thing that you will need it Clirc

Clirc is a IRC client like mIRC and this trick also works on mIRC but i will only go through the setting up of MSN for Clirc DS

1. Download Clirc HERE

2. Transfer to your R4

3. Launch Clirc, then Settings

4. Touch "IRC Servers"

5. Touch Setup on your desired server...(it doesnt matter which one)

6. Hit "edit" on "Host" and type in "im.uk.bitlbee.org"

7. Hit "edit" on "Port" and change it to "6667"

8. Save and then connect to Wi-Fi

9. Then connect to the new server that you created

10. In order to use this sucessfully you have to register, type
register eg. register abc123

11. You have then registered. You need to sign in everytime to use your account using identify eg. identify abc123

12. Now to connect your MSN to your DS. Type in account add MSN eg. account add MSN emailaddress@hotmail.com abc123

13. Then type account on to enable and you are connected.... To see your contact list

14. Touch "Menu" at the top and slide your stylus to the 4th icon... "NickList" to bring up your contacts...

15. To talk to them...tap their name and then press "Query" and you can start talking.
