Resident Evil Ships Four Million Copies (Kotaku 16/3/09)
Capcom have today announced that Resident Evil 5, the latest in the company's long, long line of zombie-killer titles, has so far shipped over four million copies.
Take note that means shipped from Capcom to retailers, not sold through to customers. But with the game picking up solid review scores and being, well, a Resident Evil title, actual sales probably won't be too far behind the quoted 4 million figure.
Also announced was the fact the demo was also downloaded over 4 million times across both 360 and PS3, and that this is the biggest launch for any Resident Evil game to date.
