Following word of what looks like some pretty big balance changes, Bungie has announced that Halo Wars fans can soon expect four new maps and four new achievements as well.
The pack is called Historical Battles, but don't read too much into the name. According to Major Nelson, there will be two 1v1 maps, a 3v3 map and a 2v2 map. They will range from cliffs that overlook a "naturally red-tinged river" to a "snow-topped mountain range.

The achievements, of course, are tied into the new map, for a total of 100 points.


Tour Coming Through: Hot drop 50 squads to your Covenant Leader in a single game on Memorial Basin (30 points)

Never Leave a Man Behind: Finish a game with 5000 net resources contributed to your teammates on Barrens (15 points)

Drain Cleaner: Kill 20 enemy squads with a continuous Covenant Leader Power on Memorial Basin (30 points)

Killjoy: Disrupt five active Leader Powers in a single game on Blood River (25 points)
The new pack will run you 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Look for it on July 21.
