Infinity Ward kind of confirms Modern Warfare 2

Voice over work for the sequel has already been recorded.

Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling has revealed that voice over work for Modern Warfare 2 has already been recorded.

"Reviewing some radio-chatter VO we just finished recording for Modern Warfare 2 today. 'Cujo Two-One this is Vulture, solid copy on all,'" said Bowling on his blog.

While the highly anticipated sequel is yet to be announced by Activision, confirmation that voice over work has been recorded as good as guarantees it's coming.

Late last year reports emerged from an upfront - an event where publishers showcase their line-up to advertisers - indicating a Modern Warfare sequel

yeah what they've actually announced it Modern Warfare 2, not Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. So maybe they're ditching the COD tag for Modern era storylines
