Has tech advances mattered to your gaming?
Just a simple question today for the membership.
In the last 10 years, has the advance of computer tech made a big difference to what you actually like to play on the PC?
I'm a wargamer, I can assure you, I don't require Vista to enjoy my wargames, and I don't require a modern kicking video card or any spiffy sum of ram either.
But my wargames are very low tech on the whole. Most of my game PREFER older computers.
If you had to pick your all time 10 most loved games, would you need much of a computer to run them?

i prefer the old 2d platformers that didnt involve the millions of controls. but now they have been replaced by big hit games like CoD and MMORPG's. Lemmings was savage, and Captain Comic xD

Doesn't matter to me. All I can say is the game would have to be really good for me to go all high tech.
