As some of you may be aware, or maybe not, the creators of the MMORPG Runescape, Jagex, are having a competition. The competition, i must admit, seems odd but seems like an amazing idea to promote the game. If you are users of Camtasia Studio or Hypercam or any other desktop capturing software then you can enter this competition by simply doing the following:

Making the "most entertaining" in-game video of runescape.

The winners will receive a free visit to Jagex Game Studios ...

Nobody knows exactly what Google's forthcoming Chrome OS will look or act like, but we've got a pretty good idea of what they're going for. Here's how to live out Google's online-only OS vision, right now

Before we dive in, it's worth talking about exactly what we're going for here. What "theory of Chrome" are we planning to adhere to? Or perhaps more to the point, what the hell is Chrome? From Google:

I'm a wargamer, I can assure you, I don't require Vista to enjoy my wargames, and I don't require a modern kicking video card or any spiffy sum of ram either.

But my wargames are very low tech on the whole. Most of my game PREFER older computers.

If you had to pick your all time 10 most loved games, would ...

With Windows 7 due by October and looking good, and SP1 bringing Vista up to the same performance as XP SP2 (that's what Microsoft claims its Customer Experience Improvement program telemetry shows), who's going to want Vista Service Pack 2?

Cuirrently only available to MSDN and TechNet subscribers, SP2 will be available as an optional install ...
