As some of you may be aware, or maybe not, the creators of the MMORPG Runescape, Jagex, are having a competition. The competition, i must admit, seems odd but seems like an amazing idea to promote the game. If you are users of Camtasia Studio or Hypercam or any other desktop capturing software then you can enter this competition by simply doing the following:

Making the "most entertaining" in-game video of runescape.

The winners will receive a free visit to Jagex Game Studios ...

Nobody knows exactly what Google's forthcoming Chrome OS will look or act like, but we've got a pretty good idea of what they're going for. Here's how to live out Google's online-only OS vision, right now

Before we dive in, it's worth talking about exactly what we're going for here. What "theory of Chrome" are we planning to adhere to? Or perhaps more to the point, what the hell is Chrome? From Google:

"Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system ...

Just a simple question today for the membership.

In the last 10 years, has the advance of computer tech made a big difference to what you actually like to play on the PC?

I'm a wargamer, I can assure you, I don't require Vista to enjoy my wargames, and I don't require a modern kicking video card or any spiffy sum of ram either.

But my wargames are very low tech on the whole. Most of my game PREFER older computers.

If you had to pick your all time 10 most loved games, would ...

Have you found a game that got a low score in a review, but turned out to be a very suprisingly good game? Let us know ^^ It can be any format, from the SNES to the XBOX 360.

Personally, one that I found recently is Beyond Good and Evil (PC, PS2) with a humorous storyline and a unique gaming experience. The soundtrack was also exceptionally brilliant.

The reason why it got such low and negative reviews is probably the fact that it didn't sell much.

Your move (:

Oh, Sony isn't going to be too happy about this one. It seems that some very clever Nintendo DSi fan has registered PSPgo.co.uk and turned it into a giant advertisement for how amazing the DSi is. Heading over to the site will bring you to an incredibly professional looking page that does absolutely nothing to convince you to get a PSPgo and absolutely everything it possibly can to show you how nifty the DSi is. Everything on the site links back to Nintendo's official pages too.

While there are millions and millions (and millions!) of gamertags out there now, in the beginning, there was but one. The alpha, the creator, Xbox Live's Adam, before he lost a rib. So, who was it?

As part of a little Q&A about the new Xbox dashboard, Microsoft's Larry Hryb has disclosed that the very first gamertag in the world is "e", which belongs to Microsoft's Xbox Live operations manager Eric Neustadter.

It was created all the way back on August 13, 2002, meaning ...

Microsoft's summer system update has brought games on demand to the Xbox 360. Via LIVE, you can now buy titles like retail packaged title Battlefield: Bad Company for the Xbox 360.

Xbox LIVE Marketplace has the game's manual available for downloading, and, as of time of posting, Xbox LIVE has the game's PS3 manual available for download. Doh!

Those who have purchased the game on demand, we hope you can work out what the corresponding Triangle, Square, Circle and X buttons.

The staple Xbox 360 - the Xbox 360 Pro - looks set to march straight off retail shelves and into the history books, if new console packaging is anything to go by.

First hinted at by Ars Technica's ever-reliable mole in June, then further hinted at by new 360 packshot renders later that month, photos sent to us by GameStop employees earlier this week seem to offer proof that Microsoft will soon go from offering three Xbox 360 consoles to just two.

Look at the spine of these new, ...
